It started with a need for fast answers about the books.

Cosigne by IT-TECH: why it exists and who it’s for.

Cosigne is a hosted connector that lets Claude and ChatGPT work with QuickBooks Online Canada. Bookkeeping firms and business owners sign in from their own AI assistant. It reads, searches and drafts changes, and nothing is written to QuickBooks until a person approves. It checks GST/HST, PST and QST, and works in French and English.

The founder of Cosigne runs a business. Getting answers about the books meant going back and forth with the bookkeeper, and the founder was tired of it. They needed answers fast.

So they connected Claude to QuickBooks Online.

Then they built Cosigne, so business owners and bookkeepers can both get answers fast, while nothing changes in the books without approval. The AI prepares; a person co-signs.

Why it exists

Intuit’s own Claude connector isn’t offered in Canada.

Intuit’s QuickBooks Online integration with Claude started in the US. Other routes, such as do-it-yourself MCP servers, need an Intuit developer app, keys and a local install for each person. This is a hosted connector made for QuickBooks Online Canada, for firms and business owners.
